The messed up girl Lindsay is 14 years old. The day that her bf broke up with her, because he loved another girl, left her devastated. And ever since he said 'that' sentence, she could do nothing but think. Now, a year later, so much has happened. The story starts in the hospital, where Lindsay is. She is there, because she overdosed the day before. When she is home from the hospital, things are starting to get weird and depressing. It's all in control until she meets Kellin, her new true love.

Everything comes out but when her brothers react speechless to a sad memory Chloe tell she takes it as a sign in a bad way. Chloe takes a step into water. Her brothers have to say a goodbye? They don't know is she'll wake up. Chloe is in hospital lifeless and her family and friends surround her.. Will she wake up or will she take a trip to her parents? A new guy in class? The bad boy starts getting me involved? A new group of friends? What happens when things start to turn over for Chloe? She becomes more confident and gains more trust. But as the same time she cracks. It's a bumpy ride but she has plenty of help along the way- lets just hope her brothers don't interfere to much on the ride.
