A Witch's Link To Humanity *Rewritten*

Ellianna's family was filled with anything but luck and love. The whijker family was known as a dangerous family, a disease that spread, destroyed and killed. Her great grandmother had after all, been the sole reason for the destruction of the royal court as well as the death of the ruling king and queen. All of which led to the apocalypse of the witch dimension, leaving the witches no choice but to flee to other dimensions. Many fled to the vampire dimension; little over a hundred fled to the largest dimension, neutral territory.

The humans were anything but welcoming. They burnt their own at the stake at the smallest sign of 'witchcraft', any true witch that was caught easily escaped. However that didn't take away from the fact that the humans were dangerous and irrational, so not wanting the blood of ignorance on their hands, the witches went into hiding. An entire century of using nothing but the lowest of basic spells. Needless to say hate and bitterness set in quickly, however their hate was not towards the humans but towards one name. Whijker.

It was the twenty first century and they still had 'wanted dead' stamped all over Ellianna and her family. They had been cursed more times than she could count, her mother had gone insane from the rejection of her link, her grandmother had to pretend that she wasn't the mate of the vampire prince and Ellianna... Well she was simply sick of it all. She had a plan. No mates, no links, no friends, always be alert.

Always be the dragon, never the butterfly. There was only one problem... How could she be a dragon at soul when her heart was a butterfly?
