In the year of 2016, when a new president is elected, everybody assumes they made the right choice by electing him. He made many promises to his country, but after his promises are made things begin to change. He decides to make a new law. Nobody knows how he ever got the law accepted, but all that matters is stopping it.

Meet Kenzie. She has wavy brown hair, ice blue eyes, and a reputation for her strait a's. When Kenzie hears about the Teen Forest Games she thinks it's just another rumor being passed around at Aridianville High. That is, until she begins to hear people talking about it in town, on the news, and articles are being written about it online and in the paper. "Will people revolt?" "Does this law represent our country correctly?" "How did a law like this get passed by the government?"

The odds of getting chosen are one in a million, but Kenzie must remember one thing: her chances of getting chosen are just as good as the person next to her. One question lingers with Kenzie each and every time she hears about the new Teen Forest Law: What if it's me?
