Team Rocket, the infamous Kanto based organization broke into Professor Oak's laboratory stealing all of his research and Pokemon except an Eevee, all for a new experiment. 14 year old Emma Anderson's parents died that day trying to protect the lab. Not wanting to be taken into a foster home she did the only thing she could...runaway. Not without taking the Eevee of course.

Now she's 16 and a powerful Umbreon trainer living the life of an underground battler and criminal. She does what she can to survive living in the harsh streets of Kanto. All until one day she meets a strange boy named Kellin Locks who rescues her from an attack at a bar.

He says he'll take her in and let her stay with him at his apartment in Lavender Town. Although Emma isn't the only one with a terrible past. Kellin has some secrets of his own and Emma's past with Team Rocket comes back to haunt her more than ever.
