Arianna is twenty three African American and a nurse at a hospital in New York. She has her masters and is very self sufficient and intelligent; she has a great family a great life but it's missing one thing. Love, well not really she did find it, it just happened that it found her cousin two weeks before Christmas as well. She now faces the fact that she is once again single on Christmas and she's also thinking about faking her own death so she doesn't have to show up this year. But when she meets Sergeant Stone, they might be able to help each other during the holiday season. First sergeant Michael Stone is twenty seven, single Caucasian and just home for his sixth deployment. His parents and him were never that close; they were there for him growing up but being workaholics his strongest relationships were with his grandparents who are both deceased now. He rarely goes to see his parents and this is a Christmas he was planning on spending in a bar or with another girl.
