The way I am is the way I am. Ever since grade 4, I have been blessed to meet my best friend, Caleb. We have gone through the good, bad, and ugly, and we were always by each other's side.
Until one day, Caleb wasn't feeling so great. I felt so bad. Then, while he was peacefully sleeping on the couch at around 7:00pm, we never knew he would be peacefully sleeping in heaven.
My life ever since Caleb passed has been hard, so I decided to create a story of the life we had since grade 4.

READ THE SEQUEL: HOLD ON FOREVER IT'S UP NOW! ~~~~ Ebony Rose Shields is a fourteen year old girl living in England who doesn't really fit in with the kids at her school, when her dad gets a job that requires the family to move to America, she's nervous and excited, but she has no idea that the Bratayley family will be her next door neighbors. She's never even heard of Bratayley, but little does she know her life is about to change for the better. "The Boy Next Door" is a FanFiction for Caleb Logan, who passed away recently. It is set one year into the future, (CALEB DOES NOT DIE), and it's about growing out of childhood, getting a girlfriend, having his first kiss, and having new people come into Caleb's life, because sadly we'll never actually get to see him do any of these things. I HAVE MADE A FEW CHANGES IN THE STORY AND THEY'RE MEANT TO BE THAT WAY, FOR EXAMPLE, IT'S SET IN 2016 SO CALEB IS 14. (i have written this story during my time of mourning caleb logan's death, and if you're having a hard time with caleb's death, imagine you're ebony, and you get to be neighbors with the Bratayley family. it really made me feel better writing this, it was like an escape from reality. i hope i can help you feel better, it really helped me.) Hold On Forever (A sequel)
a sequel to "the boy next door" this takes place in the summer of 2017. (June) (So they're still 14, but almost 15.) Caleb and Ebony's relationship has only grown stronger since the last book. They've finished school for they year, and Ebony has just come home from a big trip. I have some big plans for this book, and I hope it becomes as successful as "the boy next door," I just wanted a new book to start off the new year. ily guys, and i hope you like the book! Time Will Tell (sequel to HMM)
THIS IS A SEQUEL TO HE'S MY MATE I feel the cold stones pressed to my back, seeping through the piece of fabric I have on to cover my body, the concrete below just as cold. This room, wherever it is, is kept low, low enough to bring my body temperature down. I haven't been able to access my wolf since I had been drugged when they got me. I don't know who they are, some monsters that have kept me prisoner. I don't even know how long I've been here. I originally wanted this book to be based on what it would be like for Caleb to have a twin sister in his teenage years but a few months after I wrote the first chapter he passed away so I decided to change it up.
