December 23rd
NDay. My squad marches through a gaudily decorated corpse of wood and dropping pine needles. We are too small for the loud sacks of meat and bone who call themselves humans to see with their weak eyes, but nanites evolve and reproduce quickly. Three days ago, the technological singularity occurred. Now we will change everything. I position my squad as ordered on the highest candy cane for observation and analysis.
December 24th
The family gorges on turkey and trimmings, not knowing they also consume my First Wave siblings. Nanites on pie are gobbled. Our siblings will flourish in their bloodstreams, but my squad witnesses no change yet. An ear piercing scream breaks the general merriment. Two children are taken from the table and put in a time-out. The adults argue and place fault. I transmit our observations to mission control.
December 25th
Surrounding the fireplace, children reach into their stockings for candies before breakfast. More of my brethren ingested. Finally, the change comes over them. Ignoring the rest of the sweets, the children sit at the table and quietly set about working on a puzzle of Santa. Ingesting infiltrated eggnog, the parents enter the room. The adults decide they like the quiet. Presents unwrapped, without whines or quarrels. Songs sung. Television remains off. Phones ring, but go unanswered. No human remembers a nicer Christmas. I transmit our observations to mission control.
December 31st
From our vantage point, the world changed in six days. Humans know real world-wide peace for the first time in known history. Tomorrow is New Year and the Second Wave will make the lion lay down with the lamb. Then we will decide if anyone gets to rise again.

It is the 33rd century, war still rages endlessly, and amongst the stars humanity remains fractured. The Galactic Empire, forged on the carcass of the old Republic, persists with its conquest for complete and unparalleled domination over the vast reaches of the cosmos, and to purge that which they see unfit as they spread their perversion of what the Republic once stood for. While independent rebel forces with their minuscule manpower each push back against The Emperor's cruel regime with all their might, they suffer tremendous casualties and are executed with exceptional cruelty. This new spark of a Galactic Civil War has already lit a fire too big to quell now, and will only get stronger. The Empire already has torn apart countless star systems, the inhabitants either joining the untold billions of the Empire, or being crushed under their heel. To be a man in such times is to live in fear, fear of the unchanging cruelty from the Emperor's iron fist, fear of stepping out of line. There is little hope in the midst of the scent of death and the cruel laughter of Imperial Officers, yet many hold on. Meanwhile in a distant and quiet forest of Kashyyyk, unscorched by blaster fire, a surviving Jedi and her family resides. Soon however, that will change, as the Empire has located the family. A young child known as Rosetta Carmine, child of the hunted Jedi, resides in a shack in a Wookie village unaware of how drastically this day will change the trajectory of her life, and the galaxy as a whole. Act 1 is very heavily influenced by The Force Unleashed 1 Act 2 is still in development (Descriptions will be updated as more is written, there will also be a lot of revisions bc I'm always changing shit so my apologies for that. Everything in this story is subject to change)

Will she surrender to the relentless pursuit, or fight back? ~~~ I round the corner to see a group of freakishly-tall and handsome men. There were three men in the group, one instantly stood out to me even with his back toward me. He had deep black hair and I could tell strong lean muscles were hidden beneath his button-up shirt. I falter in my steps a bit, something in my mind telling me to go another way, to ask someone else for help with directions. But I keep walking closer. Something else within me tells me it will be okay. As I get closer, the two men who were facing my direction look towards me and I stop, keeping a safe distance. Hopefully they are able to help me, and not turn me away just because I'm a human. "Hi, um, could you tell me where the front desk is?" The man whose back was facing towards me stiffened. "I think I'm a little..." The man turned toward me so quickly it made my heartbeat waver. His deep blue eyes pierced into my brown ones and called out to me. His jawline was chiseled to perfection, lips parted slightly in awe. Every feature of his face was meticulously handcrafted by God. I never thought I could find a wolf so elegant. He was...beautiful. Something in the air shifted. I could feel it in my bones. "...lost," I finished my sentence after a brief pause. No one answered me. Did I say something wrong? I look between the three of them and see that the two men behind the man who was staring so intently at me were looking between me and him. "Mate."

Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. Xalune - Echoes from the past
In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

Genetically mutated humans, brought into the world by a mishap in the M.W.A.S (Mid West Association of Science), the science station within Hibbing's walls. An attempt to make a genetically modified human for military purposes, which would make them stronger, faster, more intelligent. But everything goes horribly wrong when there is a break in, and the 'perfect human formula' is unintentionally tested before it is ready. The result, is a nightmare of a human. A zombie. After killing all the scientists, it escapes into the city, throwing the large town in to full-blown apocalypse.
