The Humans and the Vampires have been at war for hundreds of years. It all started long ago when humans almost wiped out the entire vampire race. Ever since, the vampires have made it their mission to destroy every last human on earth, showing no mercy.

Blake Mortem, a young vampire at the mere age of 116 has had a crush on his friend, Delia Lux, ever since she mysteriously showed up almost two years ago. She's bright, chipper, and glowing - the exact opposite of every other vampire he's ever met. And she's beautiful. With golden hair and fair skin, she has the looks of an angel. 

Life is good, until things take a turn of events for the worst. Humans start to make a comeback. Vampires had laid back a bit, calmed down ... and the humans caught them unaware. Just when Blake thought that things couldn't get any worse, he finds that Delia's life is in grave danger.

In an effort to save Delia and remain loyal to his kind, Blake finds that not everything ends with "happily ever after", and that things are not always what they seem.
