She pushed past a group of people blocking the hallway.
Her long yet slender legs made their way to him.
Their eyes wandered over each other's as the two carried on the glaze.
Her eyes twinkled in the mist of the air as her sweet aroma found its way near him.
She then continued walking leaving his presence traveling to make a new one.
His eyes carried weight filled with water threatening to tumble over.
"Emerald" he yelled trying to get her attention.
Nothing was said.
"Emerald" he yelled once more as she climbed up the stairs.
"Eme-" his sentence was cut off from the honking of a car.
Emerald quickly turned around to see the love of her life helplessly laying down on hot cement.
Quickly, she ran down the staircase to hover over him.
"Pl-please" her eyes welled up.
"Don't leave me baby boy" his eyelids closed as his chest was not moving.
Tears spilled off of her eyes onto his face.....
