November Citoyenne is just some sassy, rebellious kid to most people. She likes it that way. If the standard isn't high, you won't have to work for approval. Her life is a everyday fifteen-year-old's, pretty much. But one day, she goes from semi-normal to straight up supernatural. She's whisked off to a new and magical world of people who can convert emotions into power, which they use to banish the terrifying Malevolents from this world.
November just wants to destroy these creatures, but when she tries to use her own emotions, she finds out that there's something very wrong with her.

This story only has one POV because it is meant to be an emotional story in the way that November tells the reader the things she can't say aloud. It has no smut, but friendship and family bonding style fluff.

She feels like the universe is forever against her. And never thought that, even after everything she's endured, she would ever get her 'Happily Ever After'. Then one day she thinks it may be possible. The woman she had been in love with for years, finally returns her feelings. Avery was finally happy, the woman she loved so much for so long, finally loved her back. Her 'Happily Ever After' was within reach. At least that's what she thought, until the woman managed to shatter Avery's already broken heart into a million pieces. Months later, the wound still fresh, she packs up her stuff and moves back to the city where she was born. She thinks being in a different city and reconnecting with her childhood best friend, will help her heal. But, nothing seems to change at all. At least not until one night about 2 months later. Her friend drags her to a club. To get her friend off her back, she finds a girl to pick up. She expected for it to be a one night stand and that was it but she desperately wants to see the woman again. And she ends up getting her wish but the next time they see each other it's in one of the most unexpected of situations. Just when she was starting to think that she might be able to be happy again, it all goes to crap. Her life seems to be a never ending string of heart break. Maybe the whole universe really is against her. Warning: This story's going to get a bit dark/depressing. And even though it's clearly labeled as such but I still feel I need to say this is a mature girlxgirl story so there will be sex. Waking up to a new reality
Eric was the younger of twelve year old twins, just approaching their thirteenth birthday. Although only six minutes younger than Lauren, she was clearly the alpha character when it came to sibling rivalry; she had an effervescent outgoing personality and exuded confidence in everything that she did. Eric, on the other hand, was introverted and largely lived his life in under the shadow of his sister. That was until Eric was diagnosed with a life threatening condition. Admitted to hospital for emergency life-changing surgery. Waking up a different person there was a new-found confidence and optimism that results in a metamorphosis into a life that is far from the shadows. Born out of Covid-19 lockdown, this was conceived as a light-hearted short story to counteract the doom and gloom that was resulting from the pandemic. It grew longer than expected, as I got to know Erin. The story might still be a bit rough round the edges, but I wanted to release it in time for summer vacation reading. There is no violence or hatred, just kindness and acceptance. For those that discount this as unrealistic of the real world, I counter two arguments: 1) It is a complete work of fiction. 2) My son went to Lycee (Senior secondary school) in rural France, where attitudes are generally very conservative. Despite this, there was a girl his his year, who believed she should have been a boy. HE was accepted for who he was, without prejudice. Hopefully it offers a little light reading with a happy ending. Not that the story is set in Scotland and the spelling reflects British convention, perhaps with some Scottish dialect thrown in.Complete
