Destiny Gist is a 10 year old girl who has the ability to see ghosts who have not passed on into the light. Her two best guy friends who are also ten Casey Anderson and Zachary Henderson are part of her ghost hunting group. One day this 22 year old red haired ghost named Andrew Ashtaker appears, he claims that his twin sister Ariel Ashtaker was murdered, saying that she burned to death in a house fire that someone else started, for a while she's been sleeping, but now she's awake, and because no one knows that she was murdered, or who murdered her, she's taking her anger out on the people of Greenfield, by burning them to death. If Destiny and her friends can't solve her murder in time, she just might realize how hot fire really is
