Her anxiety filled eyes flitted around the room. Twelve faces stared back, undaunted and determined. Her body trembled with perturbation, and she sighed shakily. A strained smile stretched across her lips as she sucked in a deep breath.
"Are you ready?" she cried, attempting with great difficulty to exude a valiance she did not feel.
A chorus of yeses and cheers resounded around the musty room. They filled her with abrupt gusto and determination. Her grin solidified, and her eyes lit up with excitement.
"Alright, then, let's do this!"
