A Flame That Never Fades

We met a year ago when I was walking towards my locker. I was so klumsy, and I dropped my books. He was standing in front of me when he reached down and kindly lifted my books and returned them to me. His eyes met mine and it felt like the whole world had disappeared and it was just us two. When we returned to reality I thanked him for his generosity, he nodded his head and walked away whithout a glance back. I never saw him again until yesterday when I spotted him in the main office speaking to one of the staff that was currently working in the front desk. Our eyes met again and we traveled to our empty world that surrounded both of us, but yet again he walked away.
