Evelyn Wharwood was the high school's loser. She barely has any friends and is pretty socially awkward..
Her friends include the charming Millie, and the sometimes annoying Harley. Evelyn loves them to death but they don't prepare her for the most popular boy, and may she add -hottest-, boy in school, to talk to her.
Jeremiah Elliot was the stereotypical popular boy with every girl crushing on him, constantly screaming and fainting over him kind of boy. He is the captain of the football team and secretly fell in love with Evelyn Wharwood.

One day while Evelyn was in the woods, on a simple jog, she meets a stranger. He announces his name is Okai, and he quickly lunges towards her, biting her. And then.. All goes black.
