Making movies seem to be impossible for Edgar. His life was going great, perfect girlfriend, great family, just a seemingly perfect life. After four years of high school, he finally finishes his screenplay and can't wait to show it to a movie producer in New York. However, things don't work out. Soon, Edgar slowly loses support from his brothers, then mom, then the person he calls his world. His girlfriend of 8 years, Lexi. She stays with him through the course of his rough time, then finally calls it quits. 

They reach dark and gritty parks of New York City and experience the "true" NYC. How far down will Edgar travel through the rabbit hole, until he finds what he's looking for? How long will Lexi stay with him. And how long until they get back up on their feet?
