"You are coming back Arabella." He snarled as I flashed my white teeth. I balled my fists as he closed in around me.
"Like hell I am." I spat while he growled deeply. His gray eyes flickered in the bright full moon. Suddenly, he had a light smirk on his tense handsome face. I forgot how much I missed that face.
"And how are you going to stop me Bells?" He teased as I looked for a way around him, but I have known him all my life. I knew I wouldn't be able to get around him. I would have to outsmart him.
"I could always scream for help." I pointed out as he became very, very close. His light chuckle made a shiver run down my spine as I felt his body curve into mine. Before I knew it, I was against a tree truck, my sweaty back against the rough bark.
"And who are you going to scream too?" He said while I felt his hot breath on my cheek. My voice shook. No. No.
"Caden." I snapped and that broke Zev's gaze from me. The amusement he had in his eyes was replaced with hatred. Red rimmed his eyes as he snarled and pinned me against the tree.
"Then call him. I have been itching for a fight with that traitor." He spat while fear flickered in my eyes and Zev saw it. Something flashed in his eyes and he let out a bitter laugh.
"Oh. I get it. So you two have a thing going on now? Maybe you should call him so I can kill him." He snarled and his wolf was coming out. I suddenly snapped and struggled against his chest.
"Leave him out of this! I am not going back there!" I said as he smiled wickedly at me, his grey eyes locked with mine.
"Oh yes you are."
