Cole Ross had finally done it. He had captured a bolt of lightning. Everyone thought he was crazy. No one knew how on earth he did it or why but he did it. And like it or not his bolt of lightning wasn't going to power the USA. It was more likely to power some one more specifically. Danny Ross, Cole Ross' nephew, had everything he could ever wish for. A job, girlfriend, the works. But one thing was missing. Family. His family had been broken for years and his dad avoiding the conversation was starting to tick him off. But he was going to get more than he ever wished for when he is suddenly struck by lightning! Days after he had been released from the hospital weird things started happening. The TV would come on suspiciously when he walked into a room. Or when he agent for a walk the street light would overcharge and--pop! Then he realized...he had a superpower! And when things star going utterly wrong in Huesonville, South Dakota, he takes a stand and becomes Krosswire!
