Siqiniq, Shotik, Taloa, and Issi have just given birth to cubs. But when a strange bear of strange origins comes to claim Siqiniq's territory, she is forced to leave with her cubs. Issi also must leave for the safety of her cubs when her thought-to-be friends turn on her. And when a dangerous storm comes Shotik and Taloa struggle to keep their cubs alive in the forest, and try to keep them away from other territories. But Ursa, the Great Bear, sees something in the cubs: Imiq, Homa, Okla, and Fochosh.

Kallik, Lusa, Toklo, and Yokane are best friends. Yokane was the last to join the group, but is just as part of the group. They all still miss each other, but are happy that they get to see each other every Sun Circle. They all still miss Ujurak, but see him every so often, especially when they're in danger. They enjoy their separate lives, but especially enjoy their time together, no matter what. The other bears don't like bears that aren't their kind, and hate that they spend time together. But the three bears can't care anymore, they just want to be together. Can their friendship save them, like in the past?

Both the she-cats go through hardships and battle having the temptation of mates as young apprentices, one far worse than the other. But that is not their only problem, there is evil lurking inside their very Clan and they are the only ones who can stop it. Like? Share? Comment?
