The Magic of Tragedies

Ruby Holmes grew up in a home with a doting mother and father(s). This was the norm for Ruby, who never believed in fate and love and all that nonsense until her mother marries Andrew Reeves, who conveniently fathered the most beautiful and intriguing humans Ruby's ever known. Which must be a good thing when Ruby and her mother move in with the Reeves, except that Ruby suffers from chronic awkwardness and the people she least want to see everyday are Rene and Adrien Reeves. Rene despises her, and Adrien has his head too high in the clouds to notice Ruby. Until, of course, the day that Adrien pulls Ruby into the clouds with him.
