Savvy Braxton was 15 and lived on a beach, in a house that held her, her little sister Reece, and her 72 year old, sick grandfather. Savvy is ending the 10th grade when she finds out that her favorite teacher, which is also her best friend, is leaving the town that she grew up in. They spend their last summer together and that summer, was the summer that Issac Carter came to town.
Issac Carter was 16 and has never met his father before. He's never been in that town before neither, until one day, his mom finally decides to let Issac come to this town to meet his dead-beat father and reunite with him until he find out that his father is re-marrying for the 7th time since he left Issac and his mother. Issac has to face his father's fiancé and her daughter (soon to be step-sister). He also has to spend the next two months living in the same house as them.
