When Eva turned thirteen, she a tattoo of a clock appeared on the inside of her wrist. This only means one thing. That she is going to be in the time trials. She is not alone however, for her best friend Will has one too.

Five years later that horror comes true. Today is the day she leaves. What happens when Will starts having feelings for Eva, but she doesn't love him back. What happens when the time trials turn into a competition for the crown?
