400 years ago King Nidus united the four warring kingdoms and forged a new empire. Now his descendant Luceus Machinor, the new High King, is out for blood. After a series of laws are passed, stripping away every basic right, almost all elvenkind is either killed or enslaved. Those that remain have fled to the corners of a world that hates them. However, not all humans are in support of this and the only hope for the elves is to band together behind one who will lead the revolution against a corrupt tyrant and free the empire from an increasingly oppressive regime.

{COMPLETED} The stars disappeared seventeen years ago. A black night sky has mirrored a bleak existence for the people of Auros. The Gifted, humans with unique abilities to affect the world around them, have all but become extinct thanks to the dark reign of a usurper. And somehow Zephyr Elvy has managed to live her nineteen years in the blissful quiet of a small town next to the sea. Zephyr has always been content to keep to herself, and happy to live a simple, if uneventful, life. If only the universe had that in mind for her. Forced to flee the only place she has ever called home, Zephyr finds herself running through a world she has only ever read about, along with two soldiers who have deserted their posts to keep their consciences clean. With only a letter and a mysterious weapon as clues to why she's being hunted, Zephyr must face her own fears while discovering a whole new world of terrors at the hands of a queen she knows next to nothing about. Having never risked anything her entire life, Zephyr is forced to choose between apathy or action, hiding and keeping to herself, as she has always done, or taking a leap that could change the world she is just now getting to see. ***** Thank you SO MUCH for reading! I'm updating every Monday until this story is done, and I've been sitting on this one for almost three years so I'm really excited to finish it! I don't have any beta readers for this as I write, so please let me know if you notice anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that needs fixing! :)

[The End Times] High Fantasy M!Reader Story

2 parts Ongoing

Inspired by Depore202's fantasy story that is sadly deleted and Warhammer 40k. The Empire Of Humanity, a religious, bigoted, bureaucratic backwards hell hole. After the Emperor "died" at the hands of the Arch-traitor Malus the Empire became a shadow of its former glory, never again will technology be advanced and superstition and paranoia will remain the dominant force of The Empires survival. Thousands of lives are lost every day in Humanity's never ending fight for dominance over the land. Facing foes such as the Elves and Giants along with minor races such as the Skaven, but their most important enemy is that of the forces of Darkness. It can be inferred that the world is in a dark and depressing state for in this world there is one simple truth... In the Grim Darkness Of Hestorn there is only WAR. What humanity and the other races are unaware of is that due to the sad state of the world the end times are coming, there is seemingly no way to stop it Hestorn will simply not exist or well... maybe there is a chance perhaps not everything is lost yet... Hestorn's salvation will come from a... unlikely soul. A blank.
