"The scariest monsters are the ones we can't run from."
16-year-old Sophia Driscoll's life was anything but interesting. Living in a small town with her parents and two brothers, she yearned to find some excitement in her life. That's when she met 17-year-old Ashlee Lund. Ashley takes Sophia under her wing, bringing out a side to her she hadn't even known was there. But everything comes to a screeching halt when Sophia's parents catch her and Ashlee stumbling into the house drunk at 2 a.m.
Not knowing what else to do, Sophia's parents send her to Eastlake Academy for her Junior year, a Christian camp for troubled teens promising to instill discipline and value into its inhabitants. But they have no idea what they really signed their daughter up for.
In a prison-like camp where there's nowhere to hide, and certainly, no place to run, Sophia has no choice but the endure her new life until her sentence is up.
