The Somerhalder and Wesley families have been in a war sorta against each other for generations. I never found out why but my family and theirs are not friends. (I'm in the Wesley family. Adopted. And attracted to Ian Somerhalder.) Later finds out that the Wesley's are werewolves and the Somerhalder's are vampires. I have not triggered the curse yet)
