Faith Hutch is a fourteen year old girl living in the apocalypse. There's dead corpses walking around, feeding on anything living that they see. There's people who have turned bad. 

And guess what? Faith has to go through all of this alone. Without anyone. Without anyone to watch her back, keep her company, build a small life with.

But that all changes when she comes across a boy named Carl. He leads her back to his group. She feels welcomed for once in her life.

Everything from her past unravels itself from the dark corners of herself as she begins to open up to Carl and other members of this group. Secrets about herself. Her family. Anything and everything that she never wanted anybody to know about her.

And the worst thing is: She begins to trust these people. She begins to feel.
