Evelynn Whittaker is alone in the world, having death follow her more than her own shadow- but it never seems to want to take her life, but only the people around her. She spends her days saving people, hunting things- it was the life she was raised into. She didn't want to stick with it, but the mysterious death of her parents cause her to go into deep obsession, wanting to find the things that killed them and kill it.
On the one road that she has come to know so well, she comes across many obstacles in wich she can usually overcome. That is until she meets him.
Can the two broken people who think so low of themselves fix each other?
Can she help him have hope?
Can he guide her down a different path, and lead her off the Road To Perdition?
