   -Test run to help my character development skills
  -Leftover 'scrapped' story from the 6th grade. It was a good concept. Lousy writing, though. That was only 2 years ago. My, I've improved. I reworded and re-edited it to make it first person and added better descriptions to the Prologue (the only part I wrote in the 6th grade)
  -I realize my number 1 problems (story-wise) is A) suspense and B) dullness
  -Meant to be a short story. I'd love it to be a nice, looooooong good one, though.
  -I like to think that my vocabulary could use some work. It used to be top-notch. Could it be that it actually deteriorated?
  -20 minutes on cover(would've taken longer had I not already pre-drawn the boy from a year ago. Just had to modify and color)All Rights Reserved

I don't have much knowledge about places, people, ethnicities, traits, or how people from different cultures and nationalities are. The biggest issue is that I've never left my own town to explore other places. While the internet can show me locations and how specific places look, I struggle to describe them due to my shortcomings as a writer. So, everything in this story is entirely made up. :)
