The story follows Kandy Kreme after being "repaired" by Illmenite, better known as Zalgo, but is told that her gem had to be replaced with an enchanted counterfeit as the original was far too damaged. The enchantment will only last so long, and the favor comes with a price, as he has her go and collect the rest of the gems in return for the fake to become a true gem. Seeing how it was the other gem's fault that she was destroyed in the first place, Kandy who is now known as Creedite, has no problem taking the others to use a little of their power to fix the problem they started. With time, she ends up trusting the other gems and not wanting to hurt them. But Zalgo wants those gems, and will stop at nothing to get what he wants....

Steven looks different compared to when he was kid, but after white diamond removed his gem he began to notice that something wasn't quite right so he went to the mirror and look at whats different and to his surprise, his hair was turning pink but thats not all he noticed, his Gem...it began to rotate to that of a diamond so he did the only thing he could think of, he went to the diamonds about this, so say they were shocked was an understatement, so white diamond began to explain that maybe when she removed his gem, the gem itself began to make changes because your human half can't take the diamond powers that are showing so it maybe changing you to be a half-Diamond, steven understood that his gem was only doing what it thought was protecting him. So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet.
