Many have studied dragons, and many share an interest in these supposed mythical creatures. But, maybe dragons are real?
If they are, how do we know what's true about them and what isn't? How big do they get? What kinds of dragons are there? Are there mini dragons that can fit in your hand? Are some the size of mountains?
This book will help answer these questions and more. Delve in to unlock the secrets of one of the most powerful and ancient creatures known to man.

Disclaimer: All animals mentioned in this book are highly dangerous. I have listed ways to defend yourself if an incident arises. However, all accidents and/or deaths cause by dragons will not be my fault, only because some stupid person decided to go and mess with animals that can and will kill you. You have been warned.

This is a guide to dragons, with facts that I created. Please, don't judge. It's mainly for fun.

You can read for pleasure, but if you want to use these ideas, you'll need to ask me beforehand.

Also, the pictures I am using for this are sketches I did. (Not the cover) These sketches are based off of different toy products made by various companies. (Schleich, Papo, Safari Ltd) So, I don't exactly know how the rights thing works, but if I technically don't own the drawings, then I'm not trying to plagiarize. Essentially, if I am, then I'm doing it unmeaningly, and I give the rights to those to their appropriate owners.

        But yeah, enjoy.

Far from home - Game of Thrones Alternative Story by lmKinged
7 parts Ongoing Mature
In an alternate tale of A Song of Ice and Fire, Rhaegal was cast out by his fierce brother, Drogon, in a display of dominance and wild nature that nearly killed him. Exiled from his home, Rhaegal flew west, far beyond the lands he knew, seeking refuge in distant, dangerous, and uncharted skies. Disoriented, he wished to return home after months of exile. He caught a scent of dragonblood. It was not his mother, however. This story will jump between different people and unconventional POV's to keep the story diverse. These characters may or may not return with POV unless my vision of the story changes direction. It will not be a rushed story, not to mention it is my first wattpad story, so feedback, if given, will be welcomed. If a Daenerys and Jon love interest is not your cup of tea, I'd pass this story by as it will occur at some point in the story. This is the story I envisioned, starting from around the time the show greatly diverged. I did research. However, some details may be skewed by fault of my own accidentally as I edit myself or to pursue the story the way I want (I am inexperienced, so don't be too harsh if I add more than you deem necessary). Some minor plots in the story may be abandoned by accident as it is a lot to cover, and I don't want to bloat the story too much. If the story isn't going in the direction you wanted, I apologize, but my vision for the end game and major plots are clear to me, but I tend to come up with scenarios as I go so I may incorporate ideas if mentioned but don't expect me to. Disclaimer. I do not own Game of Thrones nor ASOIAF universe, All rights belong to George R.R. Martin, David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, alongside HBO, etc. Warning. This story will contain mature themes and possible triggering content such as death, violence, sexual content, etc.
Dragon Bound - The Saga of Flames and Frost by opheliasikes
11 parts Complete Mature
Illara had trained all her life for this moment. She had been chosen - from all eligible women throughout the three kingdoms - to be presented to the dragon. Her noble sacrifice would ensure the safety of her lands for a full year. She glowed with pride at the thought. And any moment now the massive dragon would come soaring over the mountains, his massive strength and awesome power - What was this? Along a rocky pass, moving with the persistence of a love-struck cow, was something metallic. Something shiny. Her heart thundered with panic as the object drew closer and resolved into a shape. For she knew it could ruin everything. It could cause the destruction of all she held dear. It was a knight. * * * Half of all proceeds of the Dragon novelettes benefit battered women's shelters. While this first book is non-explicit, due to the strong sexual content and adult situations in future books, this romantic suspense series is recommended for readers aged 17+. The series is structured for readers to read along as I write them to offer feedback and suggestions on the complex storyline. If you're the style of reader who would prefer to wait until the entire series is finished before you tackle it, that is fine! Simply wait until the series is complete and I'll offer the boxed set. I do that with all of my books. The reason I publish as I write is that I don't write full time and it can sometimes take months for me to finish up a storyline. There are readers who don't want to wait - who would rather read along as I go and stay engaged in the process. That way they can provide feedback and suggestions on the storyline. Whichever way works well for you, I provide an option. I'd love to hear from you at my website at OpheliaSikes.com.

the thing about dragons

28 parts Ongoing

Every morning Daelyra Targaryen wakes up and chooses violence. (Figuratively, at least.) It might be because she's Daemon Targaryen's daughter. It might be because her soul is from another world. It might be because her dragon blood runs hotter than most, and that means more than she knew it could. It might be because the dragon that chose her is the most vicious of them all. It might be because she's a woman on a mission. So many might-be's, but one thing is certain: she wasn't meant to exist and the sole fact that she does was enough to knock the world ever so slightly off its axis. Why not change it further? Or: Targaryens really aren't human and expecting them to conform to human standards rarely ends well. And sometimes an unhinged woman with an unhinged dragon is all the world needs to prevent a disaster long in the making. * A House of the Dragon Fanfiction. A story about family, growing up, magic, dragons, and maybe saving the world a little. * The chapters are typically 8-11 thousand words long so I split them for easier reading. * Cross-posted on: Tumblr - https://aboutdragons.tumblr.com/ AO3 - https://archiveofourown.org/works/43121373/chapters/108369012 Scribblehub - https://www.scribblehub.com/series/699684/the-thing-about-dragons/ Do not repost.
