19 year old Alvar has a hidden life from his family. He has a large family, of all sisters except for the youngest, and no father to provide for them. Most of his sisters were married off, and he could do nothing to stop it. Until he can. His mother requests for him to give up everything, from his life to his freedom, so that he can save the youngest two from the same fate as the other. They make a deal that he has no choice but to accept. If he can get Lord Kaysar to choose him as his bearer, then the girls get to marry for love.
