Eccentric, stereotype crazy Anisha is the definition of perfect, Dan is loved by everyone and ice-skating has lost it's sparkle.
That's when Johnny comes in. Along with Mimi, Logan and Lola, they open April up to a new world, the world of skateboarding, even though that's a definite no-no in her life. For some reason, she's captivated by the sport and loves the rush. This group of friends bring out the real April, the fun-loving, loud and addictive one and although she's going against everything she'd ever been told, she was letting go and for once, enjoying life away from all the drama, the responsibilities and her mother's control.
The road to Perfection is long and sure as hell bumpy, but April's thinking of taking a few turnings along the way.
