Meet April: sarcastic, hot, rich and the perfect girl, right? She's a cheerleader, two time Californian Under 18s Figure Skating winner, her best friend, Anisha, is the cheerleading captain, the other one, Dan, a quarterback, what's there not to love about life?
Well, her maths teacher hates her, her mum pays too much attention to her, her dad doesn't pay enough attention, her sister loves to make her life hell and her brother is the only one she can trust in her family. Eccentric, stereotype crazy Anisha is the definition of perfect, Dan is loved by everyone and ice-skating has lost it's sparkle.
That's when Johnny comes in. Along with Mimi, Logan and Lola, they open April up to a new world, the world of skateboarding, even though that's a definite no-no in her life. For some reason, she's captivated by the sport and loves the rush. This group of friends bring out the real April, the fun-loving, loud and addictive one and although she's going against everything she'd ever been told, she was letting go and for once, enjoying life away from all the drama, the responsibilities and her mother's control.
The road to Perfection is long and sure as hell bumpy, but April's thinking of taking a few turnings along the way.
Quarterback of the football team, all of the best friends on the same team, and a loving family is all Williams could ask for. There's just one thing.....her full name is Addison Williams and she's a girl. And there are people who hate female football players. One being her brother, one of her biggest idols. How can she make him proud? And what happens when things stir with one of her teammates? And with all the stress of wanting to get her dream college, she's basically pulling her hair out! All she wants is to just be accepted as one of the guys.
