Thea has for as far as she remember been a slave in the landlord Pancracio's household. He is merciless and smallest mistake leads to hard punishments. Thea always fear the moments she gets punished because of a faceless shadow that always appears to torture her.

She don't know any other life than this, but one day the leader of the Elementals shows up in the city, and Thea is for the first time shown pity and kindness by Hermione of the Earth and Zephyr of the Wind, something that is not popular inside the walls of the citadel.

Thea is given her freedom by a beggar on the streat, and both of them have to run so that her master and shadow don't find her to kill her.All Rights Reserved
