Summary: Reina Peterman worked her ass off every day to make sure she was perfect. She lived in a perfect apartment, had a perfect job as a business manager of a major company, and always looked up to almost perfect expectations. One day, after going 48 hours with no sleep, she took the subway and had dozed off on the way to work. When she woke up, she ended up on the wrong side of town. Her battery for her cellphone was dead, her purse was stolen, and she had no idea how to get home. All she had to rely on were the very scary people she just met. One of those people she met wasn’t as scary as she thought, and showed her that life wasn’t as perfect as she thought. Derek Caddis worked his ass off every day to live a decent life. He tried hard to support his family and himself. He lived in a crap apartment, had a low paying job as a bartender, and never lived up to perfect expectations. He didn’t believe in perfect.
