An endless void of darkness. An internal plague of sadness, but also of fury. And now I stand alone, watching all but a face slowly wisp into the darkness. But now I know what happened, and now I can prepare for it. Now I ask for you not to feel pity, but to get out of my way.
This was a grade 7 writing assignment that I wrote that I mean, like it's a little dark but other than that I think it's okay. Make sure to tell me how I did in the comments.

A LOVE SONG UNSUNG
He was 23, and she was 18. They stood together in the registry office, ready to sign the papers that would officially make them husband and wife. It was a secret marriage-only his friend and his girlfriend knew about it. He signed first, then handed her the pen with a smile, but her heart raced as doubt and insecurity clouded her thoughts. Was this the right decision? What if his father found out about the marriage? Would his family accept an orphan and a maid like her as a daughter-in-law? What if, after fulfilling his desires, he grew tired of her and abandoned her? She had no one to stand up for her, no one to turn to if things went wrong. Was it true love, or was he simply lusting after her? Why would a billionaire's son want her? He could have anyone-maybe even a movie star-but he chose her. Why? Despite her fears, her love for him was genuine. Slowly, she lifted her gaze to meet his, her insecurities weighing heavy on her heart. He took her hand in his, offering a gentle squeeze, then motioned for her to sign the papers. With a quiet nod, she did. His friends clapped and congratulated the couple, each one signing as a witness on the papers. Now, legally, they were husband and wife. But to the outside world, she was nothing more than a maid in his house.

"Can I-" he stretches out his arms but I don't let him finish his sentence because I jump onto him like a little kid after her daddy comes back from work. His arms brace me hard and I take and feel every moment of that hug we share. I think it lasted longer then I intended it to but I don't regret anything about it. His scent, his arms and the way he's holding me so tightly like he's trying to memorize this for later. "Oh fuck, I love you," he mumbles into my hair and deep into my neck. Tears stream out of me, a lot of different emotions mix up into my system and I just can't help but cry out of happiness of finally getting to hug him and talk to him so close like this. Her hand trembles when she is about to sign the marriage papers. The very mention of the word marriage reminds her of her past, her first marriage. She had not even peacefully come out of her previous toxic marriage and she is pushing herself into the same hell again. But then fighting with her thoughts, she takes a deep breath and signs the marriage papers and a tear comes out of her eyes as she is not ready to face again all that she faced in her previous marriage. ◇◇◇◇◇◇◇ " Never forget, the day you break even a single rule of this marriage, I will divorce you and after that you know the consequences." He says after signing their marriage papers And his heart feels heavy as he says these insensitive words to her because after getting her he cannot even think of divorcing her, Divorcing her, isn't even the last thing he would do but still he has no other option except putting this condition before her.
