The Pirate and the Duchess

Maryia Adlington is on her way to being betrothed to a man, who think he's "God's Gift to Woman", and is so high-strung, she wouldn't want to marry him, even if he was the last person on Earth. After a wild string of events, marriage issues is the last thing on Maryia's mind, as she is soon hurled into a world of piracy, where it's kill or be killed. With her friend, 'Kitty', she learns the ways of a pirate, under the watchful eye of Captain Elizabeth Croswell, and meeting Captain James Alan, who reminds Maryia of a spoiled ten-year old.
