I knew this was it, just from the way they were standing around heads lowered expressions cruel. For the very last time, I would be leaving. My life as a thief was very near its end and there was nothing I could do about it. Stealing from the king had never been a very good idea in the first place but I just knew I needed a way out. An escape plan. Not that there would be an escape this time...
