-Sometimes it's not the destination that matters, but what we find along the way. For the third time that day I had been tricked by my own mind, had lost hope when hope was still there, and had found hope in places it didn't belong. Is that the definition of being human? The misconception of the world around us, to not truly ever understand what was happening, and how it would play out? Or was this just another one of such misconceptions in a sea recently calmed, I being one, or one of many still here, wondering what was truly going on. Absorbed

All of us needed our own saviour. It could have been in any form. A person. A talent. An outburst. A paper. Laughing. Smiling. Walking forward. Breathing. Writing. And some of us needed someone to save us from ourselves. Our minds. Our own demons scattered in the depths of places we don't even want to imagine. Perhaps, it was what she was looking for. The depth within. ---------------------------------------------------- But little did we know, the heart was nothing but a sponge. It absorbed all kinds of feelings--pain, pleasure, depression, joy. Once absorbed, never stained.
