Prologue.
My names Sky cove, at the moment I am 19. I have been living all my life in Evoid - my hometown. I would love to say that I am a normal guy like any other but sadly I am not. I have been living alone since a child; to put it easily I am an orphan. My mother was vampire while my farther was a normal human. I have weak memories of them, but I know that they were good people. They were killed because they were different creatures, I do not get it. They both loved each other and that should be enough. But sadly they were murdered brutally, now I am fed up with my life, just fed up. My hometown is not to my liking, it's just stupid. I don't hate the people it's the heads of our hometown that are not to my liking. I don't really give a dam about the town - head but if I had to get involved then you don't have to ask me twice.
My life's just typical, waking up, eating, working and washing, what else is there to do right.

I'm Anastasia and I'm being bullied by the Vanoss crew. When I was a baby, my parents put me in a adoption center and I never saw them again. I was abnormal as well because I was a shape shifter. But then the adoption center burn down so I had to survive by myself. Years later, I was found by a boy named Anthony.(Chilled Chaos). He was a year older and he became my protector and my best friend. He's a orphan as well but he ok taking care of himself. He knew I was a shape shifter as well. We both lived in a big abandoned house but we managed to fix, clean, and decorate the place. He would steal a lot of money so we could get new clothes and to be in a school and he would do missions for his boss with guns. I wanted to be part of it but I have to wait until I'm his age. Once we got older, We went to high school but he wouldn't really go to school. I get bullied by the most popular group in the school. The Vanoss crew. They really didn't like me and I didn't really like them. So they would pick on me. I was always the loner type of person in school when Anthony isn't in school. Human Status
I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. I prayed every night that a handsome prince would come and take me to live in his castle just like in the books. I prayed that I would be a princess and have a kingdom just like in the books. But I was never told that the books were all lies. I was never told the true reason why I was a well sought after commodity. I was never told that I am not the only one like me. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. The world had gone to hell long ago, taken over by the vampire race. In order to keep some sort of peace in our land, the Vampire Lords made a consecutive agreement. The rich and powerful humans could survive just as they had been, untouched by the vampires save for the occasional blood collections, or so they thought In reality, we were all under their control. Castles spread out throughout our land, one landing in each city. Each castle varied in the number of vampires residing there, but all of them carried a Lord. The Lords were the ones in charge in every city, whether we liked it or not. The vampires often roam through the city, making sure that everyone was in order and no one stepped out of line. If you stepped out of line, you died, end of story. Even if the rich were still under their control, their lives were still better than the poor. The poorest lives held a much worse fate. The men were to be put to work as slaves, whether that meant serving a specific vampire, or just building their castles, they were slaves. The women were to be pets. Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Born into this world full of blood-sucking monsters. Except, I was one of the lucky ones. Was. It all ended for me when I was 12, when I was taken away from the last bit of hope and family that I had left. -"Why are you crying?" What, I didn't know I was crying. -"Come on." He offers a hand to help me up. -"Stay away... from me." I get up on my own a grunt escaping my lips when I feel pain in my knees. -"Your knees!" He crouches down to look at them up close. -"Oh don't act as if you care." I look down and see he has wet hair, which is reasonable since he came out of the bathroom. *Swoop* He scoops me up, my injured knees on his left and my head rests on his right shoulder. I hitch as he picks me up. -"What do you think you're doing? Put me down this instant!" I try to wiggle out of his arms, but it's useless, he holds me tighter to his chest. He gently places me on the bed, and I sit on the edge, I instantly throw my hand to his face intending to slap him. As if it were muscle memory he blocks my hand and gently holds it. He crouches down not breaking eye contact. -"Stella, I'm... sorry. I acted out on you." I know Jacob, and that probably was hard for him to admit. -"Let me treat your knees."
