Before the night of her parents' deaths, Paige and her brother lived a mundane life. Paige was an outcast though; with all of her crazy werewolf and demon talk. Seeing things that no one else saw was one thing, but finding out that they were real, was another.

Paige Carstairs is dragged into the world of flashing swords and spells, when she runs into a demon slayer, also known as a Shadowhunter. Her parents have been killed and only her older brother remains. And for some reason the Shadowhunters  are deeply interested in Paige. But all Paige wants is to escape their world no matter how much she has to sacrifice.
