This book is about a teen a girl name Vanessa and how she thought she don't need anyone by her side when she really needed someone. Vanessa is going through some things at home with her and don't know what to do but she try to act as if she don't care. Vanessa has that attitude when she think that everything revolve around her. Then one day she met Ethan and once she saw Ethan she could not take her eyes off him. Ethan was the new mysterious guy who just move into town and once they began hanging out everything that Vanessa knew went right out the window. Her character change and her best friends started to thank Ethan for coming into her life. Even though she started to appreciate her friends they have no idea what goes on until she tells her bestfriend Crystal.
