When Crown Princess Letizia of Spain married the Crown Prince of England, she gave up her right to the throne to her sister. However, her sister has not married, nor born any children. Therefore, Letizia's children are heir to both the English and Spanish thrones. The princesses Lily-Rose and Clover have grown up happily, shielded from the public by their protective mother. But as they get older, the countries demand more from them, especially as they are soon to come of age. Their older brother, Prince Alexander is to take the English throne, while Lily-Rose, the eldest twin, is to become queen of Spain when she turns 18. This leaves Clover as the only one not destined to rule a country, destined to forever remain just a princess. They all must watch as their lives are planned out for them, their future held in the hands of their parents and governments. At the moment, they are just children, but what about when they start to understand what and who they are?

Emmet Moore and Annalise Luna were betrothed to each other thirteen years ago. Emma was ten, and Annalise was eight. The families had arranged their wedding to be when Annalise turns 21. The royal family was really excited to have their heir get married as soon as possible. See, Annalise was just another girl from a place far away from the palace. No one knows why the royal family chose her other than the fact that Emmet had accepted their choice at the age of ten. Flash forward to thirteen years later, when Annalise is invited to the palace. With the wedding talk in session, Anna overhears that the prince-her prince to be-talks of not wanting to marry her. But they have been bethroned for the longest time, and the talk of marriage has been going on for the longest time. They would have to get married, whether both of them agreed or not. Marriage of Convenience isn't the type of trope Anna thought she would be pushed into, but she is. Will Emmet, the guy who doesn't want Anna as his wife, get over that? But if he does, can Anna get over the sudden anger that comes with the prince talking about not wanting to marry her? The two were supposed to be having a happy marriage because Emmet had chosen Annalise. But now it seems that Annalise is just Emmet's unwanted princess.
