The scene is a land both like and unlike medieval England.  Catherine is in love with Eleanor, the king's daughter. The king himself smiles on their upcoming wedding, but then the evil Earl of Hillmarch kidnaps Eleanor and imprisons her in his castle. The best hope of rescuing her lies with the Sisters of the Sosarkond, a band of fighters renowned for their skill and toughness.
