A Frozen Scene

When you're procrastinating working on pretty much all of your other writing projects, it's always fun to turn to a writing prompt to get the creative juices flowing. This short story was written in roughly half an hour from the prompt, "Write about a frozen scene."

It's really amazing how different people can write such incredibly different stories with the same prompt. My cousin did this one with me, and our stories were literally nothing alike, but that's the fun of it. I encourage you to play along and write your own "frozen scene" before reading mine, and then compare. If you do, tag me so I can see it :)
