After the deaths of Kushina and Minato Uzumaki, nobody in the village of Konoha was the same. They were grief stricken.. not knowing what to do next, ignoring the fact they all had duties to return to.
It took almost 10 years to get over their deaths.
Ten years a poor boy was neglected without a reason as to why.

Once those people had had enough of the grieving they turned to anger, and the nearest thing they could find to let go of that anger was an innocent little boy brought into the world by the two people they spent so much time mourning the deaths of.
