Set one hundred and seventy years after the Great Divide, Samos is the dazzling, powerful and wealthy capital of Emedridon. The Samarians, the elite population of the capital, are the only ones who can enjoy the luxuries and comfort, whilst the Drims are forced to a life of hard labour, slums and poverty, constantly providing for the class above them.
The streets are a dangerous place. Outlaws and murderers team up and form gangs, each one deadlier than the next, blending in during day and terrorizing at night.
Eighteen-year-old Mar is a Drim - homeless and parentless, she never stays in one place for too long, until she finds two children whom she cannot bare loosing. Escaping the brutalities of yet another orphan home, she takes them both with her and, together, they survive by stealing and pickpocketing. Mar understands that staying on their own, without the protection of another gang, puts them on the radar for other gangs in Emedridon, so when all hope seems lost, Xander Rowe and his gang of criminals find Mar and her small group and form a strong alliance against the neighboring gangs.
When Mar thinks there is finally some stability in life, a handsome stranger enters into it, turning everything she's ever known, upside down, and making Mar question her identity, purpose, and the place where she truly belongs.

The setting of this story is happening on planet Earth, but just in the very distant future. This is hopefully unlike you have ever read on Wattpad, so I really think you will enjoy this. I promise you there is a fair amount of romance, love, and hot, hot boys to fan over ;)
"Do not find love. Let love find you"
--------------
"What did he do this time, princess?" Grayson purrs in my ear. He actually purrs.
Pushing him back slightly, I say, with as much ice in my voice,"He broke my sisters heart,"
With that I slam my locker shut, grab my books and storm away. Unfortunately, Grayson follows. He simply wraps his arms around me and picks me up bridal style. Because of this sudden movement my books all fall to the floor.
"Put me down, Grayson," I say, firmly.
"Nope," he says, and I can tell he's smirking. He continues walking forward.
"Where are we going?" I ask. He ignores me. And finally when he opens the green gate leading outside I know where we're going.
"Grayson Lively, don't you dare," I try and warn him.
