The year is 1979. 
27-year-old Alan O'Connell grew up in a turbulent household. With Irish parents that married straight after WWII, only to end up hating each other, it was easy for him to develop habits like smoking and drinking liquor and whiskey, even from an early age.  He was more than eager to leave the house as soon as he could, and get out there on his own. Now an aging young adult, he's held the job of a dish washer at a diner in the town he ran away to for months now. By now, Alan has had enough of the cruelty of the world, and of his own mischief making.
But is the choice he is about to make
one that will really grant him his wishes,
or
one that will tear apart his entire reality

I was close to dying if not from my sister. I went from bitches at school to my alcoholic, addict abusing mother. Then my best friend decided he wanted stop be part of the crew that cries for me to give me another reason to live. I didn't want another one but...it feels nice. Warning: This is rated MATURE for a reason. Mentions of cutting, abuse, alcoholism, bullying, gayness, and Gacha pictures because they help me visualize my characters better. If any of these things make you uncomfortable, get the hell away from my story, no one said you had to sit here and read this. Liz had a full family, who were loving and supporting in her imaginary world. As she got older, her imaginary world changed. Gone were the fantastical beasts from her childhood, sand replaced with her imaginary perfect family, perfect boyfriend, perfect everything. When things got tough, Liz escaped reality. Now, as an adult, wife and mother, when tragedy strikes she finally needs to learn to live fully in the real world. Can she give up her perfect world?

It's Harry Potters fifth year and he's depressed. He has to deal with Voldemort's return, being plagued with nightmares about his friend Cedric's murder and being abused at home. That's right. The saviour of the wizarding world is beaten mercilessly by his Uncle and Cousin. His aunt starves him and verbally abuses him. Eventually he couldn't take it and started cutting, taking drugs, getting mindlessly drunk and street fighting illegally with his muggle friends. (They obviously don't know about magic but do know about his home life). This is set from the summer before fifth year onwards. Let's see if his friends can save him before he's too far gone.

It's been years since the almost apocalypse happened, all their wounds were healed and tough talks were had. So why is Leo feeling like this? What is wrong with him? Everything is fine! Why can't he just enjoy this happy ending like he's supposed to!? Utterly sick of his broken brain, Leo goes on a quest to figure out what the hell is going on with him and to fix it once and for all.
