"That man’s got no business marrying anybody. There’s got to be some way to keep a woman from getting married."
“She can’t get married if she already is married.” Sophie explained her plan.
“Me? Pretend to be Rhett! That’ll be the day! Besides it’ll never work – don’t you suppose she’ll wonder when she hears the preacher say, ‘and do you, Noah Ingram?’”
“I’ll talk to him about it. If I can get it taken care of, will you do it?”
