Darkness is a shared fear among the people of my world. The colours black, white and grey are words that are never spoken lightly, and once you meet 'the one', are rarely seen. 

Colours are the obsession. After spending a lifetime without them, people are frantic to find them. 

I found my Colours, along with my soulmate, at age twenty-two while walking the streets of my city. Tall grey buildings changed in an instant. Bright textures and shades shone from the buildings - colours, that's what they were.
