Maya Spinnet  is a book-loving girl who dedicated herself in working to be free of debts. She lived by a principle wherein she doesn't allow herself to be in debt with anyone again. Basically abandoning social life, yet she found happiness in a library. And guess what else she found?

Well, she did met Jeffrey Petes, a silly, dare-devil, carefree guy, and somehow, he was the "extra" she didn't know she had been waiting for in her ordinary life for it to become something interesting.
