Introduction: "Father, please!" I cried as I dropped to my knees.
"You need to learn respect for your parents, Kylie." I felt a sharp pain in my left side. The air left my lungs as I fell to my side, carefully placing a hand over my newly forming bruises.
"I'm sorry! I promise it won't happen again!" I cried, looking up at him. He kept his eyes away from my own, only hurting me further. I closed my eyes as I cried, ignoring the multiple wounds I received.
